United Mutation-Insanity/Kyo Ki 7"

now we'll go from really good to really bad. at first you might think, "cool a dc band. produced by don at inner ear! this is gonna be great! like minor threat!" then you put it on and realize it doesn't sound like minor threat at all. too bad. anyway this was released on the great bootleg german label Lost and Found records. i'm not sure what this is called but it says "insanity/kyo ki" on the record label. some of you out there will probably like this. that's why i'm posting it, for the public. i haven't seen it anywhere else so here you go. comes on a nice blue vinyl. unknown pressed. have at it! (it's all garbage for me, except for the last song which i like. actually good vocals on that track).
1. white boy 0/5
5. it's over 0/5
8. oh no 0/5
10. over the edge 4/5 (only good track. recorded live in'87.)
overall: 1/10 not recommended
not something i like to listen to but maybe it's for you.

RF7-Acts Of Defiance 7"

i'm not going to say anything about this band or this release. i don't like this album at all. the music is good, but the singer's voice is AWFUL. sorry to all you rf7 fans out there but i hate this. sell this record and buy a good one.

Black Flag-Damaged 12"

ok this is enough. i guess i'll be the first one to say this, THIS RECORD SUCKS. i'm sorry but i don't like this record at all. it's slow, boring and rollins voice sounds so bad. henry was good when he played in SOA but not when he moved to LA. the only worth-while track is rise above. i'm sorry, send your anger and hate mail to me. early black flag=good, later black flag=bad! no track listings this time, no point, it's all long and bad. that's it, sorry.

Adolescents-Welcome To Reality 7"

this is pretty bad. their first LP is good (well the a-side is). this 7" seems very long and slow. the only song worth listening to is Losing Battle and even that's pretty bad. i guess everything past their first LP (including this 7") is crap. their first 7" has only one song on it 'Amoeba' and the other side is blank (too bad, cause that song isn't very good, it's also on the LP.)
1. welcome to reality 1/5 (speed it up man.)
2. losing battle 3/5 (decent, faster.)
3. things start to move 0/5 (slow, bad.)
overall: 2/10 not recommended
frontier records has reissued it, so if you really want this, their only $7 HERE (or maybe pick up their LP on the same site, i would). one-album-wonders.

Youth Brigade-Possible 7"

i said i would post this so. this is the former teen idle nathan's band (dc not la). this album is bad with some exceptions. not worth the money. think of teen idles but worse. their name came from Ian MacKaye saying "it's possible to have and ep."
1. it's about time that we had a change 5/5 (great fast song.)
2. full speed ahead 3/5 (decent.)
3. point of view 3/5 (another decent.)
4. barbed wire 2/5 (nothing.)
5. pay no attention 2/5 (alright.)
6. wrong decision 2/5 (slower.)
7. no song 0/5 (long and bad.)
8. no song II 5/5 (only one second so you can't give it anything else.)
overall: 4/10 not recommended
all old dischord 7"s are tons of money.

Eddie and the Subtitles-EP 7"

time for my first BAD review. this record is so BAD. everyone told me that it was their favourite hardcore punk band and album. so i went out and got it. WASTE OF MONEY! the first song is slow as can be and the second song has been covered SO MANY times already.
1. American Society 0/5 (slow,bad.)
2. Louie Louie 0/5 (it's been done.)
overall: 0/10 strongly NOT recommended
DO NOT BUY!!!
(((the cover's sick though.)))
