T.S.O.L.-EP 12"

(((re-post from Nov. 12/09@4:23pm)))
(((well i've decided to re-post something and here it is. released on posh boy records and i'm not sure on the pressings but more than one for sure. only album by them that i like. their first lp has some good tracks but mostly i'm not a fan. my copy of this is pretty thrashed so it's very crackely, but i like it that way. all in all great first release!)))
tsol short for "true sounds of liberty." this was one of the first hardcore records i'd ever heard. since then i've tried to get this album. initially i though this was a 7" because i found it on 7inchpunk (website). so i didn't buy it because all the ones for sale said 12". recently i found out it is a 12", so (hopefully there are some 7" bootlegs out there).
1. superficial love 5/5 (best song on here. fast.)
2. property is theft 5/5 (great vocals. also fast.)
3. no way out 5/5 (nice vocals.)
4. abolish government/silent majority 4/5 (not a fan of the chanting thing.)
5. world war III 4/5 (it's fast.)
overall: 9/10 recommended (easily available on CD with some other record on it too. if i didn't say it enough times already: 12" 7" 12" 7" 12" 7" 12 " 7" 12" 7" there you go.)

Jerry's Kidz-Well Fed Society 7"

enough kbd records, time for some fast hardcore. i downloaded this awhile back because i wanted to hear that's life because i thought it was a cover of Sinatra's song. i soon found of different. yes this jerry's kidz has a z not an s like boston's jerry's kids. in my opinion these new mexico guys are way better than the boston guys. the above picture is the cover of the first pressing, but i like the second pressing cover better. so these guys have a much different style of hardcore. it's fast but with different drum beats and chord changes. i'm not a fan of the stereo sound, because i can't listen to this in one headphone. unfortunately they only released this one great 7". i love this guy's voice, it's so bad that it's good. i recently bidded on this on ebay but lost at $33, but it's gone for much more then that.
1. marionettes 5/5 (great opener, fast.)
2. b.r.s. 5/5 (nice.)
3. that's life 5/5 (fantastic. one of the greatest hardcore songs ever.)
4. d.w.i. 5/5 (great, manic.)
5. insanity 5/5 (great, fast ender.)
overall: 10/10 strongly recommended
wish i had this.

Koro-EP 7"

ok forget about the name, this is a great release. it's a lot like poison idea's first album, but with a better singer. a lot of people claim that the album was sped up during the recordings. it most likely wasn't (but extremely fast). even if it was who cares, the faster the song the better.
they were only together for 2 years and would have be forgotten if it weren't for this record.
1. 700 Club 5/5 (huge build-up.)
2. Selfless Johnny 5/5 (fasted and tightest song on here.)
3. It's OK 3/5 (it's ok)
4. Government 3.5/5 (all over the place.)
5. Dear Sirs 5/5 (great guitar riffs.)
6. Blap! 4/5 (fast and i think a little cowbell.)
7. Nauseous 2/5 (nauseous listening to it.)
8. Acid Casualty 5/5 (they stop and start the song about 4 times.)
overall: 7/10 recommended
tons of bootlegs (even recent reissues, so get that.)
